The Small Picture Movie Summary

A zero budget filmmaker living in a basement wants to make his first feature film, a comedy about two old friends having a misadventure waiting to take the train to the racetrack. But the film is stopped before it can even get started when he finds out he can't afford the town's permit fee to film on the train platform bench. He can't even sell his car which has starting issues to raise funds. So he's left to imagine the "movie that could be" that he plays out in his head with dolls.
