This all stems from a multi-car accident where Meyer's car hit Jeff's killing Jeff's wife about two years ago. Now Jeff has returned to redeem his wife's death. As the story plays out, Jeff pulls in the other people from the accident to create obstacles for Meyer to over come in his attempt to find Sara.
